Most courses are self-paced web learning. Purchase of each includes 90 days of access to the class materials and any associated tests via the XMedius training web portal. Current partners can access the necessary forms via PartnerXpress. Other users can sign up via the Training Portal.

Who Needs Technical Certifications?
XM Fax and XM SendSecure have no certification requirements to receive support. However Voice solutions (CX-E, XM Hospitality, and CX-E TeamQ) may require technical certifications with the solution in question, depending on the organization’s XpressCare status.

Administrator training prepares participants with the knowledge necessary to configure and maintain CX-E (formerly CX-E), and XM Fax systems, while having installation and upgrade tasks performed by XMedius professional services or partner technicians.
Administrator training is available via the web.
Administrator training is a prerequisite for all tiers of XM Fax or CX-E technician training (Enterprise Specialist, Certified Specialist, Certified Professional).

Administrators for systems not on a Select XpressCare plan are not entitled to direct technical support from XMedius staff without Enterprise XpressCare and an Enterprise Specialist certification. Systems on Standard XpressCare receive technical support through authorized reseller partners.

Course List
Enterprise Specialist training provides the necessary knowledge to prepare IT staff at Enterprise XpressCare customer organizations to interface directly with XMedius customer support. It will train staff to handle configuration and maintenance of an CX-E system, with installation and upgrades performed by partner technicians or XMedius professional services.

The Enterprise Specialist certification is the level of training required for a customer to receive support with an Enterprise XpressCare plan.
Prerequisites: None
Certified Specialist training provides the necessary knowledge for technicians responsible for installation, maintenance, and design of CX-E, XM Fax, CX-E TeamQ, or XM Hospitality applications.
While this certification provides a base level of support for Voice products, certification on advanced features (Web Applications, Mobile Services, etc.) is provided by the CX-Eions course, which is required for technical support on those features.

Technicians looking to attain the highest level of CX-E or XM Fax knowledge can take courses for a Certified Professional certification. The CX-E certification is intended for technicians supporting advanced CX-E applications, such as Unified Messaging, Presence Integration, Mobile Interactions, and Digital Networking. The XM Fax certification is intended for technicians looking to advance their in-depth knowledge beyond the Certified Specialist level.
